Stichting Samenwerking Vlissingen-Ambon (SSVA) is a Zeeland volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare of underprivileged people in the Moluccan capital of Ambon (Indonesia) and its surroundings. SSVA does this under the umbrella of the Vlissingen-Ambon city link. SSVA works to increase support for its work by, among other things, entering into partnerships in Zeeland and beyond.
How does UNIGLOBE help Alliance Travel?
To support the wonderful work of SSVA, UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel works as business travel organization completely selflessly for the foundation. We hope that they can continue their work for a long time to come. For more information about SSVA or for donations, please visit their website.
An average of 40 people a year are sent to Indonesia
SSVA is sending surgical teams to Ambon to operate on the less wealthy there for free for two weeks at a local hospital. These are surgeons in the fields of urology, plastic surgery and ophthalmology.
SSVA indicated it chose UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel for the following reasons:
- UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel has the best prices for working visits to Indonesia. This is of great importance to our foundation as we send an average of forty people in that direction every year;
- UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel was recommended to us by others. Key points that were indicated are: quick service, including in the event of any delays;
- UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel speaks the language of SMEs. An important factor to stimulate economic development in the Moluccas.
