Sustainability is and remains one of the most important issues that we as a society need to work on together. Especially for companies that travel internationally, offsetting CO2 emissions is a current and ongoing issue.
Many large organizations have often already included their own carbon offsetting program in their travel policy, choosing a specific project in line with their CSR policy. But for smaller companies in particular, it is not always easy to draw up a CSR policy, choose projects and enter into contracts. Data also needs to be shared showing how much travel has taken place and thus how many tons of CO2 actually need to be offset. Uniglobe, after intensive consultation with Anthesis, was one of the first Travel Management Companies to adopt its own sustainability project. Our goal is to facilitate all customers who want to offset quickly and easily with this. All our customers can now indicate whether they want to offset CO2.
How we offset CO2 for you with our own sustainability project
- We will activate your account in our system.
- For each booking, the amount of CO2 emissions and the offset amount are then displayed.
- This amount is paid by your organization at the same time as the booking.
- Uniglobe collects all amounts once a month and forwards them to Anthesis
- The amounts you have compensated can also be found in Uniglobe's periodic management reports.
- Every year we share an official certificate showing how much CO2 has been offset and which project it has supported.
