Car rental based on full credit voucher or booking through Sunny Cars?
When planning a business trip, mobility is a crucial factor. Whether you prefer a full credit voucher with Uniglobe Alliance Travel or prefer to travel via Sunny Cars rentals, it's important to understand the options and benefits. In this blog, we offer an overview of both options to help you make the choice that's best for you.
What is a full credit voucher and how does it work?
At Uniglobe Alliance Travel you can choose a rental car based on a Full Credit Voucher. This means that Uniglobe Alliance Travel reserves a rental car for you with reputable companies such as Hertz, Avis or Sixt, with whom we have contracts. With a full credit voucher, the full rental price and all additional costs incurred are charged to us. You don't have to pay anything yourself while picking up or returning the car, even in case of damage. Also, no credit card is required for the deposit, as this is all arranged through Uniglobe Alliance Travel. At the end of the rental period, we receive the final invoice from the rental company.
Uniglobe Alliance Travel's all-inclusive rates
Thanks to contracts we have signed with Hertz, Avis and Sixt, Uniglobe Alliance Travel offers all-in rates on a full credit voucher basis. These rates include:
- Unlimited mileage;
- Full damage and theft coverage;
- Surrender of the deductible;
- License plate registration surcharge;
- Airport surcharge;
- BTW.
This eliminates the need for additional insurance on the spot. In most cases, a second driver is included. If you rent a car without this all-inclusive rate, chances are you will need to purchase some additional insurances on the spot or buy off the excess.
Benefits of renting a car on a full credit voucher basis with Uniglobe Alliance Travel
- No credit card is required in the name of the lead driver;
- The car rental company does not take a deposit;
- You have no additional payments for additional options;
- You don't have a payment moment when you return the car, the invoice comes and you pay afterwards.
Car rental through Sunny Cars: what's the difference?
Sunny Cars is an umbrella organization that offers rental cars from different rental companies based on all-in rates. So you do not rent your car directly through Sunny Cars itself, but through one of their partners.
Sunny Cars' all-in rates include:
- All insurance and roadside assistance;
- Buying out the deductible (in most cases);
- Unlimited mileage;
- All local taxes;
- You do not need to purchase additional insurance when picking up the rental car.
Sunny Cars' all-inclusive rates include not:
- An invoice payment. It is mandatory with Sunny Cars to have a credit card in the name of the main driver. The deposit amount for the rental car is reserved on this credit card. It is important to have sufficient spending limit on the credit card. At the end of the rental period, the security deposit will be released.
- Any additional charges, such as for an additional GPS or one-way charges, must be paid locally.
Which option suits you best?
When choosing between a full credit voucher with Uniglobe Alliance Travel or a rental car through Sunny Cars, the best option depends on your specific needs and preferences.
