This time in "Meet the team" we would like to introduce Linda to you. Linda has been a Business Travel Consultant since 2014 and officially certified by us as a Business Travel Specialist! We ask her some questions about her work, favorite destinations, hobbies and more!
How long have you worked for UNIGLOBE and how did you get into this profession?
" I have been employed by Alliance Travel since 2014. Coincidentally, yesterday I received a beautiful bunch of flowers delivered to my home by Rob & Anita for my 5 year anniversary. I actually wanted to join the police one day but the subjects you needed for tourism training suited me a lot better and besides, I love traveling! "
What is your own favorite destination?
" My favorite destination is Italy because of its different regions, culture and friendly people. Moreover, I love Italian food! Italy feels like coming home to me . "
What are your hobbies?
" Sports, reading, travel, music. "
What do you like about your work?
" What I like most about my job is that it is international. We mostly work with (foreign) customers who travel all over the world. The work is very varied, besides the contact with the customers we also have a lot of contact with suppliers and arrange the trip from A to Z. "
Can you tell us about a complex booking you did have to make or a special wish of a traveler?
" Occasionally we still have to get a group of people from various parts of the world to a certain destination around the same time. That in itself is not complex but a fun challenging figuring out job. "
Why do you think a company should work with Alliance Travel?
" Because of the personal service; we are committed and think with the customer. We work with a nice and close team which I think we also radiate to our customers. "
