This time in "Meet the team" we'd like to introduce Jetty to you. Jetty has been with us since 2002, is currently Manager of Operations and officially certified by us as a Business Travel Specialist! We ask her some questions about her work, favorite destinations, hobbies and more!
How long have you worked for UNIGLOBE and how did you get into this profession?
" I have been working for UNIGLOBE since 2002. After high school, I started a tourism education. There I found out that I liked business travel best and started working in business travel after an internship. "
What is your own favorite destination?
" Many destinations. From Nepal to Barcelona. Each country has its peculiarities. "
What are your hobbies?
" Not very surprising perhaps, but still I have to answer then: discovering new destinations! "
What do you like about your work?
" Being busy with travel all day! Being able to take care of everything for the client from A to Z, so they can have a worry-free business trip. "
Can you tell us about a complex booking you did have to make or a special wish of a traveler?
" When on a round trip, it still sometimes happens that we grab the old-fashioned atlas to have a good overview of the route that will be flown and how to do it the best way. The fun part of such a trip is the puzzle work involved. "
