Which countries have daylight saving time?
As inhabitants of the Netherlands, we are used to the fact that in spring the clock goes forward one hour and in winter the clock goes back one hour. As a result, it is dark longer in the morning in summer and stays light longer in the evening. Which benefits the biorhythm because this is the period when most people are awake. However, not every country has summer and winter time. This can take some getting used to upon arrival at a (business) travel destination! In this blog you will find an overview of countries and whether they have daylight saving time or not. This way you never have to wonder whether your destination has daylight saving time or winter time!
Europe (including sovereign states in this area)
Africa
Except for Western Sahara, no African country practices daylight saving time.
Asia
North America
South America
Oceania
Antarctica
Daylight saving time is used in Antarctica, however, it is not used everywhere on the continent.
