What is the most unique thing you have experienced/done while working?
As a travel agent, you are sometimes invited to go on a study tour or a study day. At the invitation of a number of Star Alliance airlines, I went along to Toronto a few years ago. It was great to get to know the airlines in this way and to be able to pass on the knowledge to our customers. It was also very special to discover Toronto this way!
What do you get the most energy from in your work?
If I can make many different bookings. You start the day with a hotel booking in China, then a flight to America and then a tour of Asia. No day is the same!
What is your ultimate travel tip for business travelers?
Prepare well, go over your itinerary in advance and check that you have put your travel documents in your bag. Also handy: check in online in advance to ensure you have a seat to your liking!
