What is the most unique thing you have experienced/done while working?
The travel industry is always changing. Events around the world often have a direct effect on our work. Think of 9/11, Sars, the ash cloud over Iceland and COVID-19. It is a challenge and very satisfying to be able to properly assist or advise clients during these situations and to repatriate as quickly as possible. It is nice to receive appreciation for this, sometimes even in the form of flowers or a cake.
What do you get the most energy from in your work?
Being busy with customer requests and working them into beautiful and complete quotes. The more complicated the journey, the more fun!
What is your ultimate travel tip for business travelers?
Make sure you travel well prepared. A checklist can be a helpful tool in this regard.
