This is in contrast to other business travel agencies where there are different departments for various parts of a booking.
In the second "Meet the team" we would like to introduce Femke to you. Femke has been a Business Travel Consultant since 2012 and officially certified by us as a Business Travel Specialist! We ask her some questions about her work, favorite destinations, hobbies and more!
What is your own favorite destination?
" My favorite destination is Canada. A country where you can easily and safely travel on spec. The combination of touching different cities and the very beautiful nature attract me in a travel destination. "
What are your hobbies?
" My favorite hobby is wakeboarding. Unfortunately in the Netherlands only possible in a few good summer months. "
What do you like about your work?
" I like the work because no day is the same and because you have access to a variety of suppliers and methods of operation to create a fully customized business trip offer to the customer. "
How long have you been working at UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel?
After my tourism education M.T.R.O in The Hague, I started looking for a job. The first 10 years I worked for tour operators and a few more years for KLM. After these years my interest turned out to be more in business travel and I made the switch.
Why do you think a company should work with Alliance Travel?
" I think a company should work with Alliance Travel because we take the worry out of it and think with the client. Our client always receives a customized travel proposal completely to the company's needs, budget and travel policy. "
